[AD 1.8.0] No undo after update

Recommended Posts

Just had my app automatically updated to the latest 1.8.0 via the Mac App Store.

For some reason, I found there was no Undo available, neither Cmd+Z nor Edit->Undo seem to work.

I realized the problem was that the setting for "Undo Limit" in Preferences->Performance was for some reason set to 0 after the update :(

Hi leshido,

Thanks for updating - this is something we're aware of and working on a fix for!

I would advise anyone else who uses the Mac App Store Designer to also check their Undo settings as it is causing a crash when attempting to use pixel brush tools, and you will also have NO undo history.

Incidentally, we made a DMG file that you can run and follow the instructions to automatically patch the app for you... https://affinity-beta.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/download/PresetsFix.dmg

It seems there was a 'hiccup' on our build server and it has destroyed one file on the Mac App Store build, so we're building and deploying as soon as Apple can pass it through their store. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience :(

Thanks for your patience,

Matt

Go to app Preferences (Cmd + ,) -> Performance -> Set "Undo Limit' to anything that is not 0 (I use 1024).

Aaaah thank you!
