Petar Petrenko Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Hi, "Right Indent" spacing doesn't works within tables and text boxes.. Joachim_L Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 It partially works when paragraph is justified, depends on the width of the cell / text frame. ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
Dave Harris Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Could this be due to the interaction between Right indent and Last line indent? Does the indent behave as expected if you set them both to the same value? We have a bug logged where increasing Right indent is supposed to increase the Last line indent automatically, but this wasn't working on Windows so you had to set them both manually. I'm not sure if this got fixed.

Anyway, trying to replicate the test I made yesterday fails. Everything is now as it should be in 1.8.0.584. Edit: Sorry, tested this only for text frames not for table cells. Edited February 26, 2020 by Joachim_L Forgot to test everything. ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed

I'm not sure if this got fixed. I tested it in table imported from Excel. It had left and right aligned numbers in the cells. I couldn't move the right aligned number from the right side of the cell. Then I tried this to a right aligned text inside text box. It didn't work either. Joachim_L Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 It seems to work in table cells, when you add a / the same value to Last line outdent ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed

I don't want to outdent the last line, just to move the text from the right border of the text box (or the cell in table). Staff Jon P Posted February 26, 2020 Staff Posted February 26, 2020 @Petar Petrenko Can you clarify if this just happens on a new text frame in a new document? It works for me but I encounter the issue Dave has mentioned. Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com

It works for me but I encounter the issue Dave has mentioned. Well, as I said, I just imported an Excel spreadsheet and after that created a text frame in which I added some text to test the behavior of the right indent. I suppose it will work the same in any cases.
