I'm finally getting back to making renders in a 3D app that can output to multi layered EXRs.  When I bring them into AP, the layer order is consistent but reversed from what I'd like. In the Layers panel, they appear to be alphabetical, top to bottom. Is there a preferences setting to change that or a script for the Arrange functions?

Hi Ma3rK,

Welcome to the forums :)

We don't currently have any preference settings you can change for this I'm afraid. Hopefully we will improve our support for these files in the future.

Thanks

I asked on the DB&W Discord and Michael Wolf replied that he was pretty sure that internally, OpenEXR sorts alphabetically.  Which would mean AP is simply opening in the files order. There might be a way of naming layers in Lightwave that can accomplish this so they're already sorted upon output. Will know more tomorrow.
