Crash when changing Flow "Keep with next X lines" from 1 to 0

My current document has a reproducible crash in .556 when I change a paragraph style's flow options (see title).

Hi. I uploaded the file. It should open on Page 27. Just change UL's Flow from 1 to 0. It should freeze when you click OK. It's important to note, that this only occurs on this page. If I do this on Page 1 for example, I get no freeze.

I can't currently reproduce this, I load the document and ensure Page 27 is in view them adjust the UL text style as you mention, it then takes a few seconds for all the text to reflow which it does and then seems fine.

You say if you view Page 1 and change the text style it's fine, has it then reflowed the text correctly when you view Page 27? It might be useful if you can upload a video of yourself reproducing it just to double check I'm not missing anything!

In a newer version of the file I changed the flow on Page 1. Everything was correctly reflowed.

Thanks, it does take a bit of time to reflow, so it might be it just needs a bit longer. I'm interested if you just leave it for a bit if it eventually reflows (as in the video it freezes and then you click to force close it, it doesn't directly crash) but I've logged an issue here with the crash reports you've provided to see if we can fix it by looking over them, even if I can't currently reproduce it.

Also, we have just released a new beta and I'd appreciate you trying it in that beta and letting me know if you get any different behavior, if not if you can provide us the crash reports that will be useful!

I just tested the new Beta. Sadly it still has the same issue. Also I tried letting it run for a few minutes. It seems there is an endless loop somewhere:

 

It just uses up a single core with 100% forever.

 

Since Publisher doesn't crash here, I don't get any new crash reports. Is there a way to force a debug dump?

Do you mind uploading the Abel Pro and game-icons font the file is using (you can PM or use the earlier link)? I don't have them installed and suspect that is the reason I can't reproduce this

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Crash when altering text style in specific document) of the program in the latest release.

The fixes and how to update are described in these forum posts.
