Jan Peek Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 I am pretty new to AP, though I am familiar with Photoshop. If someone in the know can solve my newb problems I’d appreciate it. ‘When using selection tools the panel for the tool properties box pops up as to block the lower part of the image. The panel kind of skootches out of the way momentarily when you want to work under it, but this doesn’t really work to me. I need a clear view of the image I’m working on at all times. Is there a way to relocate this? If not this is probably a deal breaker for me. It’s beyond annoying. Also, the flood selection tool and the select sampled color tool don’t seem to do anything. I select the tools, the properties panel pops up , I apply my stylus to the image to no avail Quote
DM1 Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Tap the symbol in the top right corner to clear all menus. Tap again to restore. Unfortunately this doesn’t work on Context menu. Tip from Chris B: double tap the corner symbol to hide Context menu. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff DWright Posted February 23, 2020 Staff Posted February 23, 2020 Hi @Jan Peek, Welcome to the forums In the Preferences under the section Interface turn on the option Automatically hide UI and when you move a tool near the context menu it will be hidden until you move away Quote
