fagai Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 I am a Japanese user. Affinity designers can have Western style crop marks, but not Japanese style crop marks. There are many places in Japan where printing companies can only submit a Japanese crop mark. It is inconvenient for Japanese users to be unable to attach Japanese style crop marks. Is there any plan to be able to add Japanese style crop marks? SDGLD and Jowday 2 Quote
MikeTO Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Hi @SDGLD and welcome to the forums. You replied to a thread in the old v1 archive which won't get much attention. You should consider starting a new topic in the v2 feedback forum: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/122-feedback-for-the-affinity-v2-suite-of-products/ SDGLD 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.5 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.5 for macOS Sequoia 15.3, MacBook Pro 14" (M4 Pro)
Dazmondo77 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Now we have multi-page spreads in the 2.6 beta, in order for this feature to reach it's full potential, we need a printable / exportable / hide-able slug area to fit fold marks on, which is hopefully in the works, enabling anyone to create page templates based around Japanese reg / crop marks sitting in the slug area, which would be super useful SDGLD 1 Quote Mac Pro Cheese-grater (Early 2009) 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Ram, Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5, Ugee 19" Graphics Tablet Monitor Triple boot via OCLP 1.4.3 - Mac OS Monterey 12.7.3, Sonoma 14.1.1 and Mojave 10.14.6 Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo 1.10.5 - 2.4.0 Betas 2.5.0(2430) www.bingercreative.co.uk
