markw Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 I see it’s still possible to drag the AP window around the screen with a click hold on any of the buttons in the top toolbar which is not desirable behaviour in an app. I originally reported this bug in the Publisher Beta forum here: It’s still present in all three of the current betas, it would be nice to see it fixed before final release. macOS 12.7.6 | 15" Macbook Pro, 2017 | 4 Core i7 3.1GHz CPU | Radeon Pro 555 2GB GPU + Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 1.536GB | 16GB RAM | Wacom Intuos4 M
Staff Chris B Posted February 21, 2020 Staff Posted February 21, 2020 Hey markw, I've bumped the bug report logged against Publisher. markw 1 How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
markw Posted February 23, 2020 Author Posted February 23, 2020 Nearly fixed in the 168-GM Seed of Affinity Photo Beta. Definitely 50% fixed! If you are unlucky enough to click in the top half of an icon/button, then you can still drag the interface around your screen. markw Posted February 26, 2020 Author Posted February 26, 2020 Sadly I see this bug has now found it’s way into today’s new MAS versions of Photo and Designer! With a held click on on the top half of any icon/button in the top Toolbar, for example the Photo Persona button, it is possible to drag the entire app window around the screen. This should only be possible with a held click in an empty portion of the Toolbar. macOS 12.7.6 | 15" Macbook Pro, 2017 | 4 Core i7 3.1GHz CPU | Radeon Pro 555 2GB GPU + Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 1.536GB | 16GB RAM | Wacom Intuos4 M
markw Posted April 25, 2020 Author Posted April 25, 2020 Just thought I would bump this again! Maybe with a mouse this isn't so much of an issue but with my pen, which I use 99% of the time, the UI is constantly twitching around the screen! I know it’s not a huge bug in the grand scheme of things but it’s driving me crazy! Pleas make it behave correctly in the next round of beta apps! macOS 12.7.6 | 15" Macbook Pro, 2017 | 4 Core i7 3.1GHz CPU | Radeon Pro 555 2GB GPU + Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 1.536GB | 16GB RAM | Wacom Intuos4 M
Staff Chris B Posted April 27, 2020 Staff Posted April 27, 2020 Bumped it again. It doesn't matter if it is a huge bug or not, I appreciate it is annoying. Hopefully this can be resolved for you. markw 1 How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
