cdpohl
Just purchased this great program. But, alas, I have a problem to straighten the horizon in a picture. Can someone show me the way?
Staff MEB Posted July 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 15, 2015 Hi cdpohl, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Select the Crop Tool, then on the context toolbar (right above the work area) click on the Straighten button. Click and drag on the canvas over the horizon line and the image should be corrected. LilleG
Or if you have a good eye for level, you can simply use the little double-ended rotate arrow above the image to manually rotate left or right.

I'm so blind, never saw that.. <_< I am also having trouble with straightening horizons -I am using the crop - straighten tool but still for finer movements its a struggle Personally, I use the lens correction tab in the Develop Persona for finer detail. I do have a very good eye for level but this is much easier for twiddly adjustments. I love clickers!

LilleG
Since I don't know the correct terminology, that 's what I call the little up/down clickable arrows beside the numeric input box.
My Strawberry Monkey
Ok, is there a correct name for them? I'm happy with clickable arrows :) . It's the term I would use.
