I am really really new to this world of desktop publishing.

I am stuck right at the start.  I looked up and watched the tutorial - A New Publication.

When the info is added, the document on the tutorial has a blue margin around it. (See Attached).

Same with the Master Page tutorial.  First thing that happens is that border.  I can not get that to happen.

How does one get that border?

Is the Preview Mode activated? It is the windscreen wiper symbol at the top.

The blue line might be the Margins.
Try using menu “File -> Document Setup” and looking in the Margins section of the dialog.
If it is the margins, and they are supposed to be set to the page edges, then you probably don’t need them.

Thank you. It did work for me.

Sometimes those who design a program are so used to the obvious e.g margins, that they take them for granted and don't make mention of them.

WOW! SO Easy.  Should have been included int the new Publication video.
