Not sure what caused this but it looks like a bug to me:

I had been playing around with styles for a while and the last thing I did was go the the applied master and change the spread margins. At one point I believe I re-applied said master to some of the pages in the middle of the document. (This is a small 18 page document with a few simple images below the chapter title pages.)

At one point I could no longer use the page thumbnails to navigate. Or rather, whatever thumbnail I double-clicked, I ended up on one of the first three pages in the main view.

I saved the document hoping the problem could  be reproduced, but when I restarted Publisher and loaded the document, the problem was no longer evident.

Thank God, somebody else posted this!

I had the same problem at least twice in .556 and a couple of times in a previous beta. But I haven't found a way yet to recreate the issue. Now I know: I am not the only one.

In fact the issue with me was even worse: At some point I couln't even scoll trough the whole document. Scrolling was limited to the first three pages/spreads (of appr. 10 pages/spreads in total). Although I was able to move the scroll bar to the very bottom, the scrolling of the pages themself stopped at page/spread 3... But, as I said: After having restarted APub the problem was gone for a while.

I'd forgotten when I posted, but this happened in my case as well.

We had an issue like this in an earlier beta when switching between Master and regular Page views, I'll have a poke around this are and see if I can find a recipe!
