1.8.xx - MacBook Pro Touch Bar request

Recommended Posts

It would be really fab, in Develop persona, to have a Cancel button in the MacBook Pro Touch Bar as well as a Develop button. This is the screen:

And this is the Touch Bar:

with a big gap where a Cancel button would fit nicely. (The esc button in the Touch Bar doesn't function as a Cancel button.)

Thanks!

H

Doesn't the escape button act as a Cancel button?

There's no physical Escape button on the keyboard.

Thanks @MEB I’ll check it out when I’m back on my laptop.

Hi @MEB

The Cancel button is there, but unfortunately it doesn't work in the same way as the on-screen version. Clicking the Touch Bar version immediately switches me into Photo Persona without committing any changes made during the Develop session.

I would expect it to ask for confirmation that I want to close my raw image without further processing, like the dialog I get when clicking the on-screen Cancel button:

Should I file a bug in the Beta section?

Cheers,

H

That alert is a bug to begin with as the labels on the buttons are not verbs.
