In PagePlus X9, cutting out an object in a photo was so simple.  You went to the "cutout studio" and it happened.  Is there a fast and simple way to cut out an object using Affinity Photo?  My goal is to be able to wrap text around the object.  Thanks.

In Photo, you can make a pixel selection with one of the selection tools, then Copy or Cut it.

If you didn't Open the image, but Placed it or dragged it into Photo or pasted it into another document then you probably have an (Image) layer rather than a (Pixel), and you'll need to Rasterize the layer before you can operate on its pixels.

So are you saying you can not use something easy Like the Cut Out tool in page Plus?

If not, is there a Cut Out Tool in Photo that works as easy as the Tool in Page Plus?

Thanks

I have just downloaded the trial addition as my family have been unwell. I am tryin to establish how to cut out a with the cut out studio tool in X9? I have rasterised the image but can't get the selection brush tool to work as with the cut out studio there is no undo? it seems to like to cut out far too much? is there any way of ggetting round this as I want to purchase  the full versions but will stick with old faithful page plus if it isn't possible

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
If you can give us an example of what you want to do – what sort of image you have, what you want to “cut” out of it, and what you want to do with the “cut out” part – then we can advise further. (Not all of us have used X9, so we don’t all know how that works).
The more information you can give us – preferably visual, in this case – the better.
