Welsbach
There is this very cool window which opens when one starts Affinity Photo. There I can read that I can open the samples by clicking on them, How does thos work? If I click on the icon nothing happens. Newstone
You have to click on the image. Then comes in white color a circle around the image of slowly fills. This indicates the download status. If the circle is completely blue, can be opened by double-clicking the sample image. Puffin
Welsbach
Thank you. When I click on the image (I understood this, it’s not too difficult), there comes a read cross (which indicates as I guess that the file is not available) and that’s all. Staff MEB Posted July 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 15, 2015 Hi Welsbach, The red cross it to cancel the download if needed. Just wait a few seconds. Since the files are quite large, the progress bar (the white line around the image) may take a little to show the progress in the beginning. Puffin
What do you do with the samples after downloading them. Puffin
Staff MEB Posted October 25, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 25, 2015 Hi Puffin, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You can open them to see how they have been built, what effects were used and for what etc. You can learn a lot from them. Puffin
Thanks MEB that was very helpful, hope the Beta gets updated to fix all the bugs as AP seems awesome, i have used PS before but once every thing is sorted i believe this will equal or even surpass it. Cheers for all your help. :). Puffin
Staff MEB Posted October 26, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 26, 2015 You're welcome. The purpose of the Beta is precisely to help test and debug the application so we can implement the features we introduced there in the Mac App Store version.
