Aammppaa Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Start a new document. Create 3 artboards. Draw an object (a circle). In the layers panel, drag the object outside all the artboards (so that it is not contained). Select all 3 artboards, and drag them below the circle. Expected: Artboards move below Circle in the layer stack. Result: Artboards jump in space, so that Artboard 1 now appears in the same physical space as Artboard 2. Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 14, 2020 Staff Posted March 14, 2020 We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Objects move on page when artboard is drawn out) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Designer 1.8.1.611 for Windows Affinity Designer 1.8.2.4 for Mac These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.1/1.8.2 update/patch to all customers.
