MK65 Posted February 17, 2020 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Hi, I have recently imported a pdf file where the text formatting has changed - the letter spacing / tracking setting is correct but there is a huge spacing after/before each word. I tried all possible text/paragraph format settings but nothing corrects this. Re-writing the text is a no-go. Please note the screen shot. Fritz_H Posted February 18, 2020 Share Posted February 18, 2020 just for testing purposes: use another Font The text-box is wider than the page: if the text is set to "justify left" (Blocksatz) this may perhaps cause this. Try to adjust the width of the text-box.(I have read some time ago that in "justify"-mode in english spaces AND words are stretched while in german this is considered bad design so that mainly the spaces between words are stretched...which is what we see here...)
