I have the newest and fastest MacMini with 32GB Ram and SSD HD, working on a 5000x2000 Pixel image, drawing with a 90px brush is so TREMENDOUSLY SLOW, it is a pain. I just don't understand why a perfectly new software is outrun by a 3 decade old dinosaur (Photoshop) in speed AND usability.

In the apps Preferences > Performance, try turning off the Hardware acceleration option if enabled and set the Display option to OpenGL and see if the improves the performance as it's not something we can reproduce. Are the brushes you're using are default or third party ones thats have been imported?
