Just back from a trip and went to process my images with AP but it will not open, just get the square frame with  'program not responding'.  Tried uninstalling / reinstalling Nvidia graphics drivers etc., uninstalling / reinstalling AP. A file called 'crashpad_handler.exe' also tries to run at the same time as AP if this is relevant?  After two days with this I've just about had enough tbh.

Hi Buxtonmick.

Welcome to the forums :)

Please could you call up the run box by holding down the Windows key and tapping the letter R and then enter the following %appdata% then hit ok. This should open a file explorer window with some folders listed. Please open the Affinity folder then rename the photo folder to photo.old then try opening the app and see if this issue is now resolved?

Thanks

C

Maybe it has something to do with the amount of fonts installed on your system  !!
