How in Affinity can I import sRGB images and export to CMYK with good colour saturation?

Recommended Posts

Hallo, I am a newbie with a steep learning curve behind me. My 130 page art catalogue is completed and exported to PDF for the printers, in CMYK colourprofile ISO COATED V2 300% (ECI). BUT the colours of the (originally sRGB) 300dpi artworks are all with a "grey overlay" and/or reduced colour saturation. Reading the forum, I found the softproof setting and it confirmed my problem is in the conversion. I must be the millionth person to ask this, so links are welcome: How in Affinity can I import sRGB images and export to CMYK with good colour saturation? Some forum entries (also over on the Adobe forums) talk about adjusting the tonal correction manually. There must be a better way than that in Affinity, right?

Thanks in advance, AffB
