dustymiller
Hi I have downloaded some .abr files which have original colours but when I use them in affinity designer they are only greyscale. How can I use them in the original colours please dustymiller
Staff stokerg Posted February 14, 2020 Staff Share Posted February 14, 2020 Hi dustymiller, Can you link me to the brushes? Can't say i've seen a brush like this before. Its possible the abr format allows for setting a colour, which may be something we can't read so use our stand Black and White colours for the brush. Also, in Affinity once you've selected one of these brushes, doesn't picking a colour from the Colour Studio apply to the brush?
dustymiller
Hi I downloaded the brushes from Brusheezy. They were 20 Easter egg Brushes which I have attached Many thanks 20__Easter_Egg_Brushes.abr
Staff stokerg Posted February 14, 2020 Staff Share Posted February 14, 2020 Hi dustymiller, Thanks for the brushes. These are just standard brushes and also load the same in Photoshop. You just need to select one of the Brushes and then pick a colour and start painting. The colour you've picked will be applied to the brush. dustymiller
Hi Thank you for this but I seem to remember that when I used photoshop I could download image brushes that would paint the original image in the original design and colours The vector brushes on affinity designer contains a rope brush which is coloured. On Brusheezy there are many greyscale brushes but the ones I downloaded were coloured They are raster brushes so are they only available to use in a single colour selected before painting Many thanks
