Selecting an object, pressing CTRL+J, moving the duplicate around the board with my keyboard and then pressing CTRL+J again doesn't seem to work properly. On the other hand, pressing CTRL+J, moving the object around with my mouse and then pressing CTRL+J works as supposed. Do you mean power duplicate does not work if you duplicate an object & then use the keyboard cursor (arrow) keys to move the duplicate? If so, this is normal. But as it is now, each press of a keyboard arrow key apparently is interpreted as a separate transform step (even though according to the History panel & "undo" it is just one step), so this does not meet the "immediately" criterion. Oh, that's unfortunate... maybe this happens because I'm a software developer by trade, but I really prefer to have as much action happening as possible through the use of hotkeys, as using the mouse tends to be slower than using the keyboard.
