How to select multiple objects and resize without changing position

Recommended Posts

Suppose I have mutiple objects and want to rezise them while each one retains its postion.

I know I can do this by shift clicking or selecting in the layer, but this creates a box that contains all the objects. If grab a corner of the box I can resize them, but it resizes the entire selected area, so as they resize they move apart as their positions are relative the the overall selection.

In other words they do not stay where they were relative to the canvas.

Please can someone explain how to resize but keep them in position, thanks.

Great thanks.

I tried it and works well, except I'd prefer if it kept the centre the same but I can easily workaround by moving them slightly altogether afterwards.

Only problem is that it seems to only work randomly, sometimes it works, other times it doesn't and they all move apart.🤫

Mr Lucky,

To have the resizing done from the respective centers of the objects, select the central square in the "Transform" tab of the studio, lock the proportions and enter the new desired size directly in one of the two windows.
You can also click in one of the two windows with the central mouse button and change the size with the scroll wheel.

Or scrub left or right on the "W" or "H" field labels with the mouse pointer to do the same thing.
