johannesz Posted February 11, 2020 Share Posted February 11, 2020 I have a normal sized file (30 pages), but whenever I open it now, publisher either freezes or is otherwise not responding anymore (i.e. it doesn't freeze, but you can't do anything anymore). I tried with the latest stable, and the latest beta (549 I believe), on two different PCs and the file I attached just freezes everything. The only thing I got it to work is creating a copy of the file; open the original file, then open the copy. The copy is super slow, but it doesn't freeze. The freeze also seems to be related with either the "text-inlined" tables, or the text frames themselves. As soon as I rescale one of the text frames, provided the file didn't freeze on startup, publisher freezes again. If you need more information let me know.
