firstdefence
Linked text frames could be shown to be linked in the layers panel, if they are sequential a chainlink icon over both text frame layers could be shown (see 2. for additional methods of ID) Is it possible to colour code linked text frames or title linked text frames such as chapter 1 with a small chainlink icon, not sure the latter would work well but it was in my head so I've put it out there. Selecting linked text frames from the Select menu, either en masse or using the suggestions above, i.e. colour code or title. Feel free to add more suggestions... fde101
Linked text frames will frequently be spread across different pages. To my knowledge it is not currently possible to maintain a selection of objects across page boundaries. As long as that continues to be the case a feature like #3 would not be practical. Not completely true, for text frames. Ctrl+A within a text frame that is part of a linked set will select all the text in that set of linked text frames, across any number of pages. For example: However, true from another perspective because considering objects, only the top (first) text frame actually shows as selected in the Layers panel, even though the text from all 4 text frames is selected.
