BlueJunco Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 So I just bought this program for my mac. So i'm learning. I watched the tutorial about layers and sharpening. But I don't have the same options that the video has. In the tutorial the menu on the right of the picture doesn't match mine. I don't have the option for layers. Why can't I figure out how to sharpen my video? Quote
GarryP Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Welcome to the forums. Which Affinity application are you using – Designer, Photo or Publisher? Are you sure that you are using the same one that is being demonstrated in the tutorial video? (I think the Sharpen filters are only available in Photo.) In all Affinity applications you can get the Layers Studio by choosing menu “View → Studio → Layers”. If this “Layers” menu option is already ticked then the Layers Studio should already be somewhere on the screen but the name of it may have been shortened so you just need to search for it (try making the canvas panel – where your document is shown – narrower). GarryP Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 What you have written is very vague and doesn’t give us any useful information. Which application are you using and on which operating system? Please give us a full-screen screenshot so we can see what you see. If you can, also please give us a screenshot while your View menu is open so we can see which panels you should be able to see. Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. From your other post, you are probably using Photo, but are probably in the Develop Persona with a RAW image. That's too early to have layers. Once you Develop that RAW image you'll be in the Photo Persona, and can create layers.
