Ryan B Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Hi there, I am currently making a logo and have created a shape using the polygon shape tool. However when I try to make the image bigger it distorts the curvature of the image? Is there there a way to make the image larger whilst maintaining its current shape? Thanks, Ryan Quote
h_d Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Hi @Ryan B and welcome! Hold down the shift key while dragging out a corner. Hope this helps! Quote Affinity Photo 2.5.3, Affinity Designer 2.5.3, Affinity Publisher 2.5.3, Mac OSX 14.5, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.
R C-R Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 As mentioned in the Move Tool help topic: Quote Under Preferences>Tools, the Move Tool Aspect Constrain option can be used to specify whether or not to constrain the aspect ratio by default when resizing. The option can also be set to automatic, letting the software decide based on the selected content. Whichever option you choose, it can be reversed by holding down the Shift key, so if with the current setting the aspect ratio is not preserved, holding down the Shift key will preserve it.
