Ron L
I just spent $20 on Affinity for the iPad and the first thing that I try seems impossible to use: -- the clone brush. So, what's the first thing to do? Look at the tutorials - "Clone brush" or "Clone" = "not found" What's the use of having tutorials that don't even reference the basic tool set? I wanted to replace Adobe Photoshop, but now I'm having second thoughts. Ron
DM1
In the absence of an actual question, and assuming you want to know how to use the Clone tool, I recommend first reading the Help file. Affinity Photo is a lot different to PS so get used to a big learning curve. There are endless tutes on Google that can help too. To Clone I prefer to add a pixel layer above the background that I want to clone from and then select the Clone tool. In the Context menu at bottom of screen select Sample current layer and below. Press finger on screen to select a Clone point and then move pencil (or finger) to brush in the cloned selection.
