Designer1 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 When exporting the PNG file I notice that the quality could be better. Especially with the font you don't see such smooth contours. The contours of vector graphics could be even smoother. I have compared this with PNG export from CorelDraw, png export from CorelDraw gives better anti-aliasing. How can I export better PNG with perfect contours from Affinity Designer? Quote
Staff Callum Posted February 7, 2020 Staff Posted February 7, 2020 Hi Designer 1, Please could you tell me which export settings you are using? I exported one of my designs to PNG earlier and at 100% it looks crisp. If possible could you provide one of the exports you aren't happy with? Please note PNG is a non vector format so quality will be lost when zooming into the image. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Designer1 Posted February 7, 2020 Author Posted February 7, 2020 The export quality is good. As I said, but I had the impression that if you look very closely, the curves are not so smooth. Quote

Designer1 Posted February 9, 2020 Author Posted February 9, 2020 The text could be sharper, better. Antialiasing could be better. Letters have different sharpness. Quote

Are you looking at that at 100% zoom, or are you zoomed in? Remember that you are not looking at a vector file, and any zooming in will show artifacts. Designer1 Posted February 9, 2020 Author Posted February 9, 2020 Okay, I don't see a difference now. I need perfect results for design presentations. I am very satisfied with Affinity Designer. It would be nice if Affinity Designer would get such more new features like knives (shape cutting), "vector eraser", "shape blend tool" soon. Quote
