Eddy-2
In DrawPlus, I create three rectangles, as shown below. I convert them to a picture and convert the picture to curves so I can add nodes to manipulate the shape. How do I do the same in Design? Joachim_L
Converting to curves is enough in AD. Eddy-2
Thanks, but Design converts each rectangle to curves, not the combined shape.
G13RL
Hello, Eddy-2, Create a rectangle, make two copies. Select the set, align them horizontally without spaces, put the desired colors. Export the set (always selected): "File", "Export", choose PNG (selection without background). Then import the PNG you just created: "File", "Place". Once imported, "Layer", "Convert to Curves". You can then manipulate your shape. Eddy-2
Eddy-2
To G13RL, Thanks. Sometimes the obvious goes over my head. I'd assumed that rasterising did something similar to 'convert to picture' but it seems not. Job done.
G13RL
Thanks for the feedback, I'm not used to Pixel Persona, but when you import a photo it's an "Image" you can't work on. To make a selection you have to "Rasterize" this image. In the layers it changes from "Image" to "Pixel". Other people would explain this much better than me. Eddy-2
Yes. It took me a while to work that one out when trying to cut out parts of a picture. G13RL
