lai1
Hi, I was wondering how to print a box around the border of the transparent background in Affinity Designer. Suppose I have an image (layer) and I have it just inside of the transparent background, I want to be able to see how much smaller the layer image is relative to the image size. Is there a setting when printing that will allow me to print the transparent background with an outline? Thanks, lai
Staff Dan C Posted February 3, 2020 Staff Share Posted February 3, 2020 Hi lai1 My apologies, I'm not 100% certain what you're trying to achieve here - could you please provide a screenshot or .afdesign file detailing this? 16 hours ago, lai1 said: I want to be able to see how much smaller the layer image is relative to the image size. Are you trying to determine the layer's size and compare this to your overall document size? 16 hours ago, lai1 said: Is there a setting when printing that will allow me to print the transparent background with an outline? There's no direct setting that I'm aware of, but if I'm understanding your document correctly you should be able to add a rectangle around the document and then use the Stroke Studio to create the outline that you wish to be printed.
