Is there any way with the new Metadata panel, to remove the Creator Tool tag?  I've tried editing the XMP and importing it, but the Creator Tool isn't replaced.

Also wondering if Metadata can be applied via Batch Job?

Grumpy, but faithful (watch out all you cats)

The only way I think you could achieve this is by recording a macro and editing any of the editable fields in the Metadata Panel. You can then save the macro and load it in as part of the batch job. I've just done it with the IPTC Headline and it worked.

As far as I know, you could only target specific data available in the Metadata Panel and with a macro. Someone else might have a better idea so I'll move this to questions.

Have you tried Exiftool? There's quite a learning curve, but for batch manipulation of metadata it can't be beat. (IMHO)
