Hi, I would like to start my work on white clean no border background.

Is there any way I can change Affinity Designer iPad background from back to white ? also hide document border ?

On AF desktop version, I can make exactly by

1. change background color in preference > use interface > change background grey level scale

2. Hide border by View > View mode > clip to canvas or short cut "\"

However I can't find this menu in ipad version. Is there any solution ?

Attached images

1. ipad version that I would like to change background color

2. desktop version clean background I would like to have the same on ipad

Thank you very much.

I don’t believe this feature is working in the latest version of the app v1.8.6.1.

Sliding the Background Grey Level to either side does not change the background in the app.. it’s always a light grey. It would be great to be able to darken the background, especially when working in low light conditions. Has anyone else experienced this or is it working as expected?

Oops, guess I didn’t understand how to use the slider 🤦. Thanks guys, now if only they’d extend this to the dark grey UI for the layers and fx panel etc .!
