Bruce Atkinson Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 I am working on replacing the sky in a number of photos with water bits along with the land and want to correct how the sky (now replaced) is reflected in these. I've searched for methods to do this in Affinity Photo via Goggle and in this forum but have so far been unsuccessful in finding any information. Does anyone have a link to a tutorial on how to do this? Thank you. Quote
GarryP Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 It’s a little difficult to advise without seeing what would be involved. If you can give an example of the image you’re replacing the sky in I’m sure you will get some good suggestions. Quote
Bruce Atkinson Posted January 30, 2020 Author Posted January 30, 2020 Good point. Here's an unedited image that illustrates the sort of water situation I'm dealing with. Quote
HVDB Photography Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Hi Bruce, I gave it a try. I removed the white background using the blue channel to create a grayscale version, which allows to rasterize it as a mask. I attached the .aphoto file and numbered the steps I took to come to this result. Bruce Atkinson Posted January 30, 2020 Author Posted January 30, 2020 This is excellent. Thank you so very much Hubert. I'll try and duplicate your steps and get back to you if I have any problems. Quote
