unable to open tif

Recommended Posts

Unable to open a tif, either Photoshop made or AP.

Not when creating a new file and then 'open', not when dragging a file to the dock icon. Not when going to 'open...'

Opening a regular APhoto file works and I'm warned about the beta status.

When opening a pdf it works like normal. A png also.

From "I'm warned about the beta status" it sounds like perhaps you're using the beta version of Affinity Photo. That's not completely clear from your post, and it's important because you've posted in the Bugs forum, which is for bugs experienced using the retail version (not the beta version).

For issues using the beta version, on MacOS, the Photo Beta on Mac forum should be used.

Hello onto-r,
You comment above from your post leads me to think you are using Photo beta?
If so then this is a known bug in the current 1.8.163 beta build.
