SharonPerp
I have searched and searched and can't figure out where those assistant error message popups reside. They usually appear when I'm deep in the zone and can't get to them quick enough to read them through. Any help greatly appreciated!

SharonPerp
Wow, it's seems like a really important thing to overlook, doesn't it? I mean, if the issue is critical enough to pop up a message, we have to be able to find the message! Really surprised about this. Thanks for your info
Old Bruce
I wouldn't call these critical by any stretch. They tell you what action the assistant has taken, the list is like this for Designer Pšenda 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

They tell you what action the assistant has taken, the list is like this for Designer Sorry, but how does it relate to "history", which operations, how many times and in what order did the assistant perform? In most cases, I don't even notice that an operation (even a destructive one) has been performed by an assistant. If there were any warnings, plus a list of operations performed (as I mentioned in Windows Action Center), then everything is clear and completely under the control of the user. Fritz_H
My input regarding those Assistant Messages: - they can not be moved - Why? Perhaps @SharonPerp would not miss them if she could make them pop-up right in the middle of the screen? - they are too subtle (?): a grey message on grey background.. ?? (too much EyeCandy, too little usability - again) - How about an option: Autofade yes/no? - How about an option: if Autofade = no -> stack the messages, each event linked to the position in the document history - which leads us to a Message-Center, how about that? - How about a countdown-to-fade-timer ?: A red (?) line at the top/bottom of the message that shrinks continuously. If it´s gone the message fades.(I have seen that somewhere, but can not find an example...) kind regards Fritz SharonPerp

They're more like missing or modified resources or something. Next time I'll have to take a screenshot. One of them says an asset has been modified outside of the program. But, it doesn't tell me which one, so what good is it?

If it's this one, it does tell you what changed: If you're fast enough, you can click Resource Manager to open the Resource Manager so you can click Update for that image. If you're not fast enough, Document > Resource Manager (in Publisher's Publisher Persona) will let you find it. Or you can configure Publisher to update Linked resources automatically, and then just ignore those Assistant messages. But, seriously, I have discovered that if I do see it in time, at least I can hover over it and it will stay long enough for me to read. And, I believe I've gotten other's besides just resource manager but have never managed to catch them quick enough to read. Now that I know the hover trick I hope to snag one of those. Thanks!
