I get the instruction to select an RGB pixel layer before entering the Develop persona.  A tech-support answer says to check the layers panel, and if the parentheses don't contain "pixel" you have to rasterize the image; however, my layers panel has only one layer, and it does say "(Pixel)." I vaguely remember being told to check for what kind of document the image was by clicking on the Document tab, but I don't see anything that seems appropriate to my situation.

Your document is Gray/8 not RGB

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Apart from that, why do you want to go to the Develop Persona? Is there any feature I do not know of, which is only in this Persona? I think the Develop Persona is only meant for "developing" RAW files, not for files that were "developed" previously?

It can be used with any RGB pixel layer. For example, its Lens panel might be used to manually add or remove pincushion distortion, spin the layer plane horizontally or vertically, etc.

Some things closely duplicate what can be done in other personas; others do not.
