krollian
Hi, folks of AD! Just a very simple question: How I stablish, define or adjust the bleeds in a document? Thanks ;) Quote Graphic designer from Bilbao (Spain) FreeHand forever. Affinity Designer rocks! - Diseñador gráfico de Bilbao (España). FreeHand forever. Affinity Designer ¡mola! Konspaul
What is the work-around for bleed control at the moment? Just resizing the document from doc. properties?
Staff TonyB Posted June 2, 2015 Staff Share Posted June 2, 2015 What is the work-around for bleed control at the moment? Just resizing the document from doc. properties? Yes, setting your canvas size bigger will help but PDF X1a will still expect a trim box that we currently don't export. Most printers can handle PDF files without trim boxes but it's not their preferred workflow. We will be introducing trim, bleed and other PDF improvements in the coming months.
