GeoffH
I have notice that the text under the studio panel image previews disappears when a horizontal image is cropped to square or vertical. Original horizontal image Image cropped to vertical. Note no text under HSL previews but Brightness/Contrast is O.K. After closing and reopening Brightness/Contrast the text is now also gone. History panel Vertical images open fine without any text problems. Has anyone else noticed this behavior ? The Brightness/Contrast may still have text, but the preview images are wrong. They're still showing the pre-crop view of the image. Staff Chris B Posted January 27, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2020 I think it shows the pre-crop view because the initial crop isn't destructive—if you rasterise and trim, the preview does update. It's a good observation though Walt. I do think this could be handled better though—especially the labels being cut off. I'll query it with the developers. Staff Chris B Posted January 27, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2020 Might be a redraw issue actually. You don't even need to rasterise and trim as it eventually updated for me once I moved the canvas around. It's a good observation though Walt. Thanks, Chris. Note, though, that in that second screenshot, the HSL adjustment previews were square (reflecting the crop) and the Brightness/Contrast were rectangular (nor reflecting the crop). So there are the questions both of why the text labels are missing from HSL and the crop is missing from Brightness/Contrast.
