Im trying to export slices. i created rectangles of size that i need. and when im exporting slices created with these rectangles it doesnt export it. is there a way to export these slices without manually creating slices by myself? Staff stokerg Posted January 24, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 24, 2020 Hi shustovcreates, I can see why its happening, as you are only selecting the Rectangles and creating the Slice from them, which will only give you the Empty Rectangles. I'm not 100% sure of another way to create the slice without using the Slice Tool. If you'd like to post the .afdesign file, i'll be happy to have a play around and see if there is a method

GarryP
Sometimes it might be useful if we could duplicate a slice and then move the duplicate to a new position rather than having to manually re-draw a new slice of the same precise size over (and over) again. Not a deal-breaker but a time-saver, especially when you want to create game background tiles from multiple layers, e.g. a tree (one layer) and the grass behind it (another layer). I recently did a project in AD where I missed the slice duplicate feature. Is this something that is being worked on?
