Simon Dominic
Is there any way of making the process of opening and organising windows more user-friendly? Whenever I open a new file, and the windows are floated, the new window joins to the active window and maximises. I then have to tear each window off to re-float it then resize it manually, which is very fiddly with a pen, then select Zoom, fit to window, etc. Then I load another file and I have to do it all over again. Working with multiple files in this way is exceedingly frustrating. Is there a setting where I can just load a file and it appears in a window and doesn't interfere with anything else? Simon Dominic
Thanks. I don't actually have that option (v1.7.3.481), only 'Documents open in a new floating window', so I checked that it this solves the problem of windows opening 'joined' to the existing last used. Sorry; it seems to be new in the 1.8 beta.
