i.am.aikidoka Posted January 22, 2020 Share Posted January 22, 2020 Hi guys, just ran into continuous issue with the toolbar Its disappearing randomly when working. Tried everything i found in the forums - from resetting to whatever hint was given... However the resetting works - but it makes no sense as the context toolbar disappears again randomly after resetting (starting with CTRL etc. ..) - it makes working impossible ANY new solutions on the way? thnx !!! Staff Sean P Posted January 22, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 22, 2020 Hi i.am.aikidoka, Is it just the Context Toolbar that disappears, or other areas of the application? The Tab key is a shortcut to hide the UI, so it maybe that you're pressing that. There is a known issue that closing down the software with the UI hidden will cause issues when you try to unhide it, which means you'll have to manually enable all the panels, tools and toolbar. Staff Sean P Posted January 23, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 23, 2020 Hi das545, The issue with the toolbar in separated mode is a slightly different issue to the one I mentioned, however that issue is also logged with development to be fixed. Thanks for letting us know. To get it back hold down the Ctrl key whilst launching the application and then ensure the top 3 options are ticked with everything else unticked. After that click 'Clear'. This will fully reset the studio and defaults and allow you to view the Toolbar in Separated Mode. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Photo 1.8.2.174 for Mac Affinity Designer 1.8.2.4 for Mac Affinity Publisher 1.8.2.619 for Mac These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.2 update/patch to all customers.
