MikeW
Affinity applications are sensitive to an OS's color profile. There are many threads about this. Try changing the OS color profile. I don't think anyone else in this thread has the same issue you have.

Hangman
Undoubtedly a silly question but is it the same in Affinity Photo and/or Affinity Publisher, just trying to rule things out? MikeW
I don't know how color settings on the Mac work, nor can I read the language your OS is using, but in your screen shot of color settings, there are two instances of a "LCD Color" profile. Hangman
@MikeW I use the same ColorSync settings that @Neloross has just tried and have no problems. I use screengrabs daily in AD and AP with no issues. @walt.farrell, thank you, that's handy to know MikeW 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.4.2 | Affinity Photo 2.4.2 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.2 Affinity Designer 1.7.3 | Affinity Photo 1.7.3 | Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 MacBook Pro 16GB, macOS Monterey 12.7.4, Magic Mouse
Hangman
@Neloross three things... Could you... Post a screengrab of your AD colour preferences panel Upload one or two more screengrabs you've generated Let us know the software you used to crop and create the original png file you posted as I'm assuming it wasn't Affinity Photo? MikeW
It might be useful to zip up a screen shot and upload it so any possible forum upload process can be eliminated.
Neloross
Greetings to all I think the mac profile that is compatible with affinity was unconfigured, when I upgrade to "Catalina". After returning to the factory settings and changing the profile of the macbook, and restarting the mac, each capture that I take is already shown in color, but the calptures that were taken with the previous profiles and previous system continue to enter gray, the which is no longer a problem, because I take a screenshot again and add them to color... is the only thing I find logical, if someone is using "Catalina" and does not have the problem then it was a matter of profile....!!! Hangman
Glad you found the solution. I know there was a bug in High Sierra with apple’s screen capture where screen grabs were saved in greyscale which was the reason for my original question.
