Replace color funcion

Recommended Posts

Hi GAS :)

This has been covered previously in the below topic -

I hope this helps!

EDIT - looks like @fde101 beat me to it! ;)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

this replace color brush is not as useful as in PH

Why not?  Saying it is not as useful provides almost nothing to work with.  Can you give a specific example of what it is not as useful for, or something that it is lacking?

It seems to me that having it as a brush provides more control over where the color is replaced, as the need to mask an area of the image ahead of time to apply the change to is reduced if not eliminated.

i summed problems with "Color replacement" brush sometimes ago here -

I honestly tried to use it for some time in different cases - and always ended up in frustration and redoing "replacement" with other tools //
In short it is completely unusable in low-saturation areas, it is quite unpredictable because of this.
