Gummidge
Hi, New to Affinity Photo - Am using the Affine filter to offset an image but the extend mode doesn't seem to be working in any of the drop down options. Is there a setting or situation where this would be normal? Thanks Gummidge
Staff Dan C Posted January 21, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 21, 2020 Hi Gummidge, Welcome to the forums When using the Affine filter, the Extend Mode will not make any difference if you have not change the other values in the dialog. Which extend mode are you trying to use? If you change the scale from 100% to 50%, does the mode options now make changes as expected? Staff Dan C Posted January 21, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 21, 2020 Thanks for your screenshot, something certainly seems to be amiss here. Could you please provide a screenshot of the full Affinity app, including the Layers Studio? Alternatively, a copy of the .afphoto file would also be helpful. Many thanks in advance! Staff Dan C Posted January 21, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 21, 2020 Thanks for your file Richard, I can replicate the issue you're seeing, but I believe this is due to the Pixel layer extending beyond the canvas. Please right-click the layer in the Layers Studio and select Rasterise & trim. Now, try using the Affine filter again and you should find it works as expected! tom cryer
With or without rasterise and trim, the affine filter finish is blurred. mzone3d

tom cryer
I deleted it. The problem happens when I work in a lower resolution than 72ppi.
