Hello I'm new here and my english is not very well. Sorry!

I have the new program affinity photo and some questions about the tools and she individual 'workspace'.

Is ist possible to get an individual 'workstation' with individual tools in my most used way?

Is it possible to define somewhere that a tool has determined characteristics, or should I specify that again in each new file I open?

I would be very pleased if someone can answer this question.

Hi Barbara,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

1) No, currently it's not possible to save custom workspaces.

2) No, Affinity doesn't keep your tool's settings from one work session to another. However you can save Presets for some tools/functions.

Sorry for both negative replies. Hopefully we will address some of those issues later.

Hey MEB, will there be support for different workspaces/studios in the future?

Today I downloaded the AP and AD Customer Beta and was wondering if I can

ex- or import my current panel position and toolbar from the App Store version.

Or is there a location where these settings are stored so I can copy/paste them?

This would also be a nice feature if one woks on multiple computers or for

different purposes e. g. retouching, painting and so on.

Greetings

Dennis  :)

So far as I am aware there has been no change in this regard between v1.5 and v1.6

MEB's earlier answer still applies.
