I've got the latest Windows updates installed on my PC here and haven't had any issues with crashing, but then i just created a simple PDF with some text and pictures, which exported fine and didn't crash. There wasn't any obvious sequence of steps that caused the crashes ... but there has been another Windows update (Windows 10, version 1903) and now the problem seems to have gone away ... fingers crossed it stays that way.
