Affinity Designer 1.7.3 (Mac OS Mojave)

The problem occurs when exporting to PSD format an object with a gradient filling and transparency set to below 100%.

Affinity Designer graphics:

Export result to a Photoshop file:

Photoshop gradient layer is rasterised to 50% (this is where the problem is) + opacity set to 50% (properly)

Hi Maciek Blaźniak,

Would you be able to attach a copy of the AFDesign file you're exporting to PSD? I've tried creating one from scratch but that is exporting correctly for me, so I don't believe I've created it the same as yours.

Thanks for that,
It looks like the object was being rasterised at 50% and not 100%. This meant that the layer opacity was then being applied making the final object appear around 25% opacity. There has been quite a large change with PSD exports in 1.8 and I can confirm that your objects are being exported correctly using that.

If you wish to try it yourself then there is a Beta available below. However please be aware that any files saved in 1.8 will no longer open in the current 1.7.3, so we advise you to work from backups.
