woefi
Wow, IDML import is getting better and better! Bravo! One thing I noticed in my test document: the column gutter being imported with the wrong size. In ID, I had 6mm, now there are only 1.4 mm in pub. Here is the code from the IDML "Master Sperads_uc5.xml": <MarginPreference ColumnDirection="Horizontal" ColumnCount="4" ColumnGutter="17.007874015748033" Top="42.51968503937008" Bottom="42.519685039370074" Left="25.511811023622048" Right="25.511811023622048" ColumnsPositions="0 192.0472440944882 209.05511811023624 401.10236220472444 418.1102362204725 610.1574803149606 627.1653543307086 819.2125984251968"/> : (also: the text after the bullet points is getting indented too much) Main machine: iMac 2019 (21,5-inch 4k, 6core), 64GB RAM, 1TB nvme + 2TB ssd, running on Mac OS 13; Display setup: 28" 5k Display (primary) + 21,5" iMac4k-Display for studio panels (secondary); Keyboard layout: german apple extended keyboard (aluminium);
garrettm30
I write to confirm that I see what appears to be the same thing. In the attached IDML file, I have provided an example from one of my templates where I have cut out everything but four empty pages with nothing more than margins and gutters (ie., the details as set from InDesign via the Layout→Margins and Columns menu). The gutters are .8cm on each of the four pages. As it is set up with facing pages, pages 2 and 3 form a spread. On import, I see two errors: The gutters are now .2cm. The spread of pages 2 and 3 has been imported as a single large page rather than a two-page spread, and the Document Setup dialog shows the "Facing Pages" checkbox unchecked. gutter guides.idml
Staff Jon P Posted January 16, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 16, 2020 Thanks for the report, and for the attachment, it does seem to have regressed and isn't reading these values in correctly now. I've logged this. woefi 1 Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com

The first problem in my own quote above is resolved in beta 549, which seems to be noted in the change log: 1 hour ago, AdamW said: IDML Import: Gutter values could be incorrect The second issue has not been addressed yet. It kind of is a different issue anyway. Should I make a separate thread?
woefi
The column gutter is now correctly imported in b549! Thank You! (However: The bullet point indenting is still not corrected, also wrong corner radius of rounded rectangles, which I think is a similar issue, fwiw...)
