IDML column gutter not correct

Wow, IDML import is getting better and better! Bravo!

One thing I noticed in my test document: the column gutter being imported with the wrong size.

In ID, I had 6mm, now there are only 1.4 mm in pub.

 

Here is the code from the IDML "Master Sperads_uc5.xml":

I write to confirm that I see what appears to be the same thing. In the attached IDML file, I have provided an example from one of my templates where I have cut out everything but four empty pages with nothing more than margins and gutters (ie., the details as set from InDesign via the Layout→Margins and Columns menu). The gutters are .8cm on each of the four pages. As it is set up with facing pages, pages 2 and 3 form a spread. On import, I see two errors:

1. The gutters are now .2cm.
2. The spread of pages 2 and 3 has been imported as a single large page rather than a two-page spread, and the Document Setup dialog shows the "Facing Pages" checkbox unchecked.

Thanks for the report, and for the attachment, it does seem to have regressed and isn't reading these values in correctly now. I've logged this.

The first problem in my own quote above is resolved in beta 549, which seems to be noted in the change log:

The second issue has not been addressed yet. It kind of is a different issue anyway. Should I make a separate thread?

The column gutter is now correctly imported in b549! Thank You!

(However: The bullet point indenting is still not corrected, also wrong corner radius of rounded rectangles, which I think is a similar issue, fwiw...)
