Hi,

How to add space between words without adding space between letters in a whole paragraph ? Everytime I add space it also modifies the letters, I just want to add word spacing.

Thank you

You're in the Character panel, which (as its name suggests) deals with characters, and the two settings there (kerning, tracking) deal with space between letters.

Perhaps you want the Justification section of the Paragraph panel. The first 3 entries there provide settings for minimum, maximum, and desired word spacing.

i exactly want to modify the word spacing. in the paragraph panel there is no option to adjust the desired word spacing. justify is the only preset option to adjust the space.

there is no manual way to adjust space between words ?

This may sound flippant but you can add spaces using the spacebar and the Text > Insert Character > Em Space and En Space. They are the same width as the font height and half the width of the font height. The justification section of the Paragraph panel has a section about desired word spacing and Maximum word spacing 250% seems to be the maximum.

As I said, that's the first three settings in the justification part of the paragraph panel.
