As this is a 'Stability and General Testing' beta it is considered to be not suitable for production use. This means that you should not attempt to use it for commercial purposes or for any other activity where you may be adversely affected by the application failing, including the total loss of any documents. I tried entering this code g+03c7 with adding space after it (hoping it will auto insert the glyph), with ENTER, but nothing happened. Create a wide and very thin rectangle across the page. Select the vector crop tool. In 1.7.3, unless zoomed in a long way the top left and bottom left crop corner & move cursor/handles dominate, so stopping you using the left crop handle. Equally the top right and bottom right crop corner corner and move cursor/handles dominate, so stopping you using the right crop handle. In 1.8.0 the Left & Right crop handles are now usable on a thin horizontal shape.
