iamneubert
Dear Community, I used to design on Pixelmator due to me trying to avoid the Adobe Cloud. Now I have finally moved to Affinity. Sadly I am having trouble with the Snapping tools. How can I active, that if I have three Elements/Text Boxes/ Etc, and move them around, that all 3 boxes directly snap to the same distance between each other so that they all look aligned vertically and horizontally? Thanks! iamneubert
Staff MEB Posted July 13, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 13, 2015 Hi iamneubert, Currently Affinity's snapping doesn't take similar distances into account. It only helps to align elements. This should be improved soon. Meanwhile you can use the Arrange tools to space objects evenly. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
iamneubert
Okay, good to hear that you will update Affinity constantly! I also wanted to ask if there is a way to align the Grid to the page center? Because in the moment it isn't in the middle of the page. Thanks! Staff MEB Posted July 13, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 13, 2015 No, currently the grid is aligned with the top left corner of the document. There's no way to change this at this point. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
